During enemy MPh a tank is going to use it’s MG’s vs moving enemy squads. Tank wants to use it’s BMG, CMG, and AAMG to fire independently not as FG.

  1. Can it fire only 1 MG vs squad as it moves 1MF, then fire the other MG’s at this same moving squad as it continues to use MF’s or must it FG and Fire all MG’s together.
  2. Can it fire 1 MG vs moving squad(1MF), then hold other MG fire to fire at other enemy squads that may move?
  3. If allowed would each MG be marked Final Fire individually, and if 1 or 2 of the MG’s had not Fired would they then be eligible to fire during the DFPh?

1. You can fire different MG vs the same target on different MF expenditures. They only have to combine into a Fire Group if they fire on the same MF expenditure.

2. Yes.

3. You have to keep track somehow of each individual MG as it fires, placing First/Final Fire counters as you see fit. I usually use "First Fire" myself if they fire during the MPh.

3. The MGs that did not fire in the enemy MPh would be eligible to fire in the DFPh. Each MG is an individual Weapon per the 2.0 Definitions.
