Talk like a pirate day

Anyone else do the quest yesterday? I forgot all about it - spent the day with a friend celebrating a birthday - then came home and remembered the announcement so logged on. The "reward" is a pirate hat and eyepatch, but it was kind of fun. I got the impression they've done this at least one year before as well?

It's an annual event but it has never interested me in the least.

It has nothing to do with Middle Earth unless LOTRO gets down to the coasts and includes the Corsairs of Umbar some how.

PS- I should say that like most events/activities Turbine throws in it's probably a fun deal if you enjoy the side trips!
