So... I'm trying to get back into ASL after a 30 year absence.

I have the original ASL rules binder, from about '89. I've bought the pocket edition of the 2nd Edition (everything else is "Temporarily Unavailable"), but was wondering if I can still use all of the tables printed on the section dividers of my 1st Edition rules? Or have the tables or the values in the tables changed over the last 30 years?

There are numerous edits and minor changes to the tables but nothing, as I recall, that will have a major effect on your game. Some nice flowcharts were also added which I also don't recall from the first edition.

Regardless, you should consider adding Le franc tireur's excellent Rat Pack Charts (vol. 2) which is listed as Out of Print on the LfT website, but still shown available from other distributors (like here). This item is perhaps even more convenient than the pocket RB, and will give you, essentially, everything you need.

Welcome back!

There is an ASL player's map if you are looking for nearby opponents.
