Looking for suggestions for a great Bulge scenario to play this coming 16 December.
So far considering "Stoumont: The Break-In"
Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Shoot-n-scoot, Parkers Crossroads, Baraque De Fraiture (the big one). These three are all good. But if it was me I would play your choice "Stoumont: The Break-In".

Stoumont: The Break In, is an excellent, if very long, scenario.

Well if you want to dust off an oldie you could drag out U8 Weissenhof Crossroads, Schnee Eifel Region, 16 Dec 44. I can't vouch for the balance or fun of the current rendition, but I do remember having fun with it in the old SL days. {Plus, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the "Golden Lions"}

A good one for Christmas day!

Of my designs (of which there are many) I recommend 'Penny Packets" -- it's meaty, but not huge.

Or for Starter Kits-- 'Hammer to the Teeth' seems to be popular and fairly well balanced.

I always design a new Bulge scenario each December, while listening to Christmas music to get me in the mood .

(There's no place like "HELL for the Holidays")?

I just ordered this book, so let's see if there is anything new:

Had a fun time with this scenario with an absolutely great opponent!

DB 106 Defending the Twin Villages, especially after reading Zaloga's recent book on stopping the 12th SS. Played as the Americans and lost, but still satisfying game - recreated creating Pvt Cowan as a hero, who with CPT MacDonald were sole survivors of a melee with multiple SS squads over several turns.

I find his point that the HJ at the time had filled out a lot of their slots with LW and Kreigsmarine personnel rather interesting. Could change a few assumptions regarding OBs.

The company’s were armed with rifles and STG44s. The duel in the mist series says they changed the to&e of the companys to ease the logistics. They made rifle companys and stg44 Companys. I would they were under trained and taught to be brawlers and not fighters

Just looking at the Scenario Archive. Three scenarios can play out the action in the same area as DB106

DB135 The Krinkelterwald is a great little all-infantry action taking place in Hollerath on Dec 16th. Infantry from the 277VGD trying to clear the way for 12SS runs into the U.S. 99ID. Fun tourney-size action.
