Stunned halftrack with passengers

During movement phase a half track is shot at by MG (on infantry table), and crew stuns/recalls [boxcars MC]. Passengers are not affected.

Can the passengers then leave the halftrack, assuming the halftrack has enough movement left?

My assumption is NO, but can't prove it with the rules.

I assume teh passengers cannot exit, either in that MPh, or in APh, and then exit the board next turn when the halftrack ercalls.

Is this right?

No, not during the turn it was STUNNED--it may not expend MP during that player turn. However, during the next turn, it may unload its P/R, but must do so ASAP (i.e. no unload one unit at a time to stay on board for another turn). Check out D5.341.
