A question about the VC; Do the Japanese/Burmese Control all the victory buildings to start with? Of course, by the ASLRB, they do.

BUT....

The last SSR mentions needing to occupy a building at some point for it to count towards the VP total. So, if a side was NEVER in a building- do they still rack up points for it???

Hi,

SSR 4 was written for calculating number of buildings/hexes controlled by the Japanese/Burmese when they get both a real unit and a dummy unit as reinforcements. In order to claim control and get points for a building/hex that was previously controlled by the Commonwealth when a concealed real unit enters the building/hex the Japanese/Burmese player must prove it is a real unit otherwise they don't claim control or get the point. Otherwise normal building/hex control rules apply. Buildings/hexes in the Japanese set up area are under Japanese control at the start of the game and stay in their control until the Commonwealth player takes control of them.
