If you come across any decent pictures of Peri or Nyssa whilst you're there...

Star Wars . . . .

I cant begin to think of all the time I spent watching the panoply of Doctors travel the universe with companions whose reason for being seem to be to say "What, Doctor?" and "Whatever you say Doctor". Nonetheless it was a great series. I been thinking of having of the nefarious creatures (Silurians and Daleks are my favorites) over to a BBQ. I want the Daleks to try to eat while intoning "Resistance is Futile".

Well, if nothing else you'd have someone nearby who'd be able to help if your sink got blocked after the washing up.

And it's be easy to get the BBQ lit - just ask one of the Silurians to heat the thing up with his third eye.

I prefer the original three Star Wars movies. Unfortunately, the name of Star Wars has forever been disgraced by the most recent movies. Hopefully, Episode 3 will be almost acceptable.

I nearly ordered a Dalek once over the Internet about 6 years ago. It would have cost me £1,500.00. What's that, about US$2,500.00? Anyway, I decided against it because I didn't think I'd fit in it (I'm 6 foot 6!).

So I spent some time walking around at night as Darth Vader instead. That was a laugh - people wouldn't bat an eyelid, I had this tape playing of the breathing sound and people would just say "good evening Darth".

Sigh. Being evil isn't what it used to be.

Well, if you're ever in the UK and don't mind being escorted blindfold to my Secret Headquarters by a couple of burly henchmen with machine guns, I can show you every episode that still exists - I've got them all.

So, that's sorted then, I look forward to hearing from you! :thumb:

I was at Killer Con where Patrick Troughton died. :(

But to answer your poll. I voted SG1 as it stands now. My taste tends to very over time. :)

Cheers!

RStory,
Cool! Another SG-1 fan! What do you think about the upcoming Stargate: Atlantis? I don't honestly know what to think.

As for Mr. Troughton, it is always a tragedy to lose a great actor from Sci-Fi....:(

Wow.

He was my favourite Doctor - I was gutted when I heard on the news that he had died.

Yup he died in his hotel room. It was a very sad day for us all. Magnum Opus Con in Columbus, Georgia.

He was one of my favorite Doctors as well.

Cheers!

I'm kinda excited over it. I liked the season ending cliffhanger of SG-1.

It was a big shock to find out he died.

I'm excited because our local cable conglomerate finally gave us Sci-Fi on regular cable, so I'm able to watch all of SG-1....Hopefully I can catch up before Atlantis! :thumb:

Has anyone else here seen the NEW version of Battlestar Galactica?

I bought the DVD the other day, it was...different, but I didn't think it was too bad. The sexy blonde female Cylon helped. :D

I watched the whole thing in one evening - but found the camera work a bit disjointed and distracting in the space battle scenes. But apart from that, it was OK.

I'm willing to give the new BG a try, but I'm not willing to give it a final review until the series (or more mini-series) show. The mini-series was a good start, but I wasn't hooked just interested.
