We had another fun packed weekend of ASL in Atlanta at our annual Spreading Blaze tourney this past weekend.

Overall we had 25 participants, playing scenarios over 3 days beginning on Friday morning.

I want to thank our Sponsors for their generous support
  • The Gamers Armory
  • RitterKrieg
  • Multiman Publishing
  • Bounding Fire Productions
  • Schwerepunkt (Evan Sherry)
  • HazMo Productions (Chuck Hammond)
  • ASL Octoberfest (Bret Hildebran)
Mike McGrath won the main event finishing undefeated as 5-0.
Dave Reenstra took 2nd place with a 4-1 record.

Mike and Dave played AP169 - The Beast Have Arrived in the final round with Mike winning as the Germans,

Ray Woloszyn finished in 3rd place.

Special thanks to Paul Sidhu for pitching as the spoiler in Round 4 after getting beat by Ray in a round 3 playing of AP177 - A Celebratory Mood (Ray won with the Japanese)

We had four other folks that won 2 round mini events on Saturday

Dave Kocot
Pat Cross
Tate Rogers
Bob Peatman

I also want to thank Brent Crawford for all of his help with the event. Brent does all of the hard work, selecting the scenarios and keeping me on track during the 3 day event.

Photo below of me presenting Mike McGrath with the first place trophy made by Bill Pilon from the Atlanta ASL Group.

Nice tournament and venue. I will be a regular participant should this continue in Atlanta in that son and daughter-in-law with our first grandchild is 6 miles away.

Many thanks to Gary and Brent for running a smooth tournament.
