While taking a couple of weeks mental rest I viewed a lot of Youtube videos and came across a couple of series useful at ASL level.

Battle Order

G.I. History Handbook

both cover from the squad level upwards, mainly concentrating on US WW2 organisations.

A more generalised, in terms of time and nations, but still excellent series is

Military History Visualized

If like a very prominent public figure (or two) you don't like reading much or absorbing figures and organisations but just want to look at pretty pictures and drool, from wherever, at tank porn:

https://www.youtube.com/c/PanzerPictureGroup/videos : WW2 newsreel stuff and mainly German.

All I'm seeing on that channel is lo-res footage hijacked from other channels. The dude even complains about being demonetized, no doubt because of all the filters and overlays and screen bugs and watermarks he is throwing in to disguise the fact he's taken from other channels. The footage itself is probably copyright free, but he's pulling the footage from other channels who have put their logo on it, while making obvious attempts to disguise those logos.

Granted a mishmash of 2nd, 3rd and 4th hand stuff, but all in one place. I found many clips that I hadn't seen before. Others here might find novelty and usefulness in them. I'm not an art or film critic.

What I might point out here is what caught my attention. In post #3 I pointed to just 1 of The Chieftain's many, many videos as the question of Christie tanks in US service came up a month or so ago. Come to think about it, I would recommend his series for those who are interested in armoured history, what considerations go into designs and practical flaws and benefits in service.

His "doctrine" video series is also interesting. He also has a talk on how the Sherman was not the death trap it is commonly portrayed as.
