I have three main questions regarding FB CG rules. I searched the forum with no success, sorry if I missed a previous response.
1- Initiative chits appear to be secretly chosen during RePh step 17.623. But this choice does affect several other previous decissions and rolls. For example, Axis ability to purchase a third infantry group in an axis assault. How is this handled? Should players secretly choose chits during 17.619, just before purchasing units, and then reveal them during 17.623?
2- Snow duration (17.6181): CG III already starts with ground snow. When this ground snow is supposed to be created, in this first day or before? It affects how many more days we will have ground snow, per 17.6181. My reading is that this initial ground snow is not "created", so we can have it removed since the second day, depending on weather rolls. Is that correct?
3- This one is not related to CG, but rather to ammunition shortage. 16.11 states that SMCs are immune to ammo shortage. But 16.6 states some drms for things like PF checks or starshells. My question then is: Do these drms apply when an SMC make a PF, starshells, or ATMM check?
