The title says it all...

What can we look forward to next from Bounding Fire Productions? And When?

Thanks,

Jan.

We've got several projects in the works right now, and when Chas decides that the next one is ready for public consumption he will make a BIG announcement. I can't divulge what these projects are (unless I wish to have the Major's boot stuck so far up my backside, when I smile I put a spitshine his boot), but I can say having seen and been involved in most of them we've got some real kick-a** stuff heading yer way. PTO, ETO, Ost-Front. So much ASL goodness you'll overdose playing it all and will need to spend the next six months at the Sunny Hills Retirement Home playing nothing but "Old Maid" with the old maids in order to recover (what's that in yer hand, sonny? Don't fergit, tomorrow is suppository day..woo-hoo!).:crosseye:

OK thanks Sarge. I did not manage to get the next releases description, shame! But I do understand you wanting to keep it secret.
However can you give us a clue as to WHEN it might be. A couple months, half year, or more?

Sorry Honza..No clues...I've not been given the word to start writing the marketing materials yet, so best guess is not for a bit.

Too provide some clarity of vision, your question is one of the reasons that Chas has us keeping everything very close to vest. We don't want to tip our hand to the ASL community until we know that our releases are solid, ready to go to press, and will have content that will knock your socks off.

I can tell you that Sarge, Chas, Myself, Hornke, Sam, and a lot of other folks have been playtesting NON STOP a variety of scenarios that cover nearly every theatre of the war and a goodly number of the nationalities.

If you can hang with us, we're certain that you will not be disappointed with what we offer up to you..

Honza,

The evidence is out there. You need to either read some tea leaves-- or perhaps some older ASL Journals. Look at some of the products being discussed in the Journal #1-4. Some of them are no longer discussed in connection with MMP.

I can think of three possibilities...one of which is ETO, another is PTO and a third is Ost-Front.

As far as release dates, that I don't know.

(Sorry for teasing ya, Honza :devious:)

Whatever its going to be, I'm looking forward to it! I think I know what the PTO product is; and it sounds GREAT.

Jan,

We are hoping to have a release in 2008, and then a couple in 2009. Once we confirm content and pricing for the next release it will go up on preorder.

Well, in case you don't know, I am stationed at Ft leavenworth and worked at the College where Chas is taking classes. I am well aware of what the academics are like here. Plus, since he came unaccompanied, when he does get a long weekend, he flies home to see his family - which cuts into his studying also. It's a testament to his discipline and motivation to see the great BFP products he continues to develop, while completing his studies in an exemplary manner.

Also, me and our loyal band of ASL players of the Kansas City Irregular ASLers are playtesting tons of Chas designs for BFP. In addition to our group working on our own stuff for March Madness.

I just wanted to clear the air before a pile-on started. :)

Chas,

There are pictures at http://www.oklahomaasl.com/ such as
that do indicate that you are a class human being.:)

I/we are assuming that you will be at the 2d Annual Thunderbird ASL Tournament 7-9 Nov.... in Oklahoma City.... right?

Best regards,:salute:

Yep - that is Chas - probably playing two different scenarios at the same time (and winning) like a Chess Master.

Honza.... he is an arty type soldier.... if he was infantry he would have much shorter hair.:D

Sam, since Chas is expected in Oklahoma City.... I am also assuming that you will also be in Oklahoma City for the 7-9 Nov 2d Annual Thunderbird ASL Tournament.... with Rick and Austin crew??? Get your pre-registration in ASAP as, in addition to good folks coming, you will want to get the t-shirt we are working on. (Honza is welcome also.....)

Best regards,:salute:

What is actually happening in this photo, is the fellow in the camo shirt made the mistake of rolling "snakes" against Chas and is now being forced to eat an entire plano of counters with chopsticks. Chas is instructing the other player that if he makes the same mistake, something much worse is in store for such a transgression. Actually Chas is one of the nicest folks I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with...I hope someday he will give me enough time off from PTing to actually get humiliated in a FTF against him.

It is now mid-November and it looks like we will not release another product this year considering there is still considerable work to do. However, we do expect 2009 to be a pretty big year for us.
