Found the scenario SJ1 Grappling Glowaczow from the Northeaster tournament list and thought it looked good. Decided to play it this afternoon at our local club gathering. Highly recommended! balanced OOB and opportunity for both sides to manoeuvre and attack.

one question is that German reinforcements are marked as entering turn 1 in the oob area and on turn 2 on the turn track. Which is correct?

we played entering on turn 2 which felt better (and I won as the German) but we had some crazy dice on both sides. My sniper killed a couple squads by itself.

Must be a playtest/pre-release scenario?
It's still pre-release and thanks for pointing this out. Looking at the original draft, The Germans actually enter on Turn 1. The Turn 2 gaffe was a missed error when the graphics were added. Sending an email to get this repaired now. Thanks. Playtesting showed it to be very balanced with the turn 1 entry. Giving the Poles two turns not being opposed by much German armor other than the one HIP PzII was too hard for the Germans. Thanks for this catch Nebel.

Hey Nebel, the corrected version is in house and on its way to the Nor'easter Downloadable resources. The issue with a German Turn 2 entry is that it can be taken advantage of by the Poles with the right approach and then the Germans are stuck entering more from one area than two. It played well with turn 1 in testing. Thanks for pointing out the error, it is appreciated.

Thanks Carl both my opponent and I who are pretty evenly matched thought this was a fun challenge and the mix of units is very nice. Definitely recommended for your tournament players!

And I might hope this means good progress is being made on these projects

Three scenarios left. Nine "in the bag". Two of the three should be ready within a month. The last one is waiting for a double wide sized HASL map. Until then, we can't get into the finishing touches. Discussed the progress of the map with the two premiere map makers over the last week and progress is being made. As always, "Real Life tm" does rear it's ugly head.

Which product will this scenario be in?
This will be the Steve Johns pack. Steve, who has put out a ton of tournament sized scenarios of excellent caliber for Dispatches and also was the designer of the very widely played 3rd RTR in the Rain, has designed 12 scenarios. I have been developing the initial designs with feed back from Steve and graphics from Sebastiano from Advancing Fire Publications. Tom Reppetti and Michael Barger are working on the HASL map, which will be used for the final scenario. The only one in the pack that will be a larger affair. We hope for release by mid to late spring.
