Size of hex on standard ASL map?

I can't seem to find this anywhere?? What is the "size" of a hex on an ASL map in inches and Millimeters?

10 hexes wide, eight inches wide means the hex is about 0.8 inches wide or 20.32mm wide

And remember that physical geoboards are not regular hexes, but are slightly "squashed."
