Let's just say after playing the same scenario 10 times, I have a new found respect for the amount of free time and tolerance for mind-numbing boredom that POS possesses. Can't imagine playing the same scenario, what is it, like 40+ times that he's doing in the green light tournament...

Sith 10, Jedi 2

A plethora of Sith armor overrun Peek's backfield, as he suffers ignomious defeat at the hands of (*gasp* how humiliating) the most pathetic of the Sith: The Coil. We can only assume he fell on his own lightsaber (which is trickier than it sounds, because you have to hold the button down to keep it on) to preserve his family's honor.

Sith Apprentice Coil seizes defeat from the jaws of victory, as nimble Jedi JDSU lays a late inning thrashing on him, the highlight (well, lowlight) of which was when JDSU plinked four Stugs on turn 29... The Coil will no doubt face a paddling for this one...

Gamey last second flag rushes abound, as Jedi fluidwill and Sith Apprentice Coil finish up with a draw. And yes, Leto, if you look real close, you can see fluidwill's sniper keep one of those small flags in the back neutral...

As per McIvan's request, a screenshot from the old Sith thread, one of my favorites...

Der Kuenstler lost 38-62 v. McIvan
Combat Wombat lost 36-46 v. Trollvela

Right you are...Das Tiger, RNL Tiger, I get 'em all mixed up. Let's try to come up with some more unique handles in the future, ok, people?

Hehe...actually, most of your last second flag rushes were legit - wasn't much on the flags that could fight back. The gamey comment was meant mostly for the chump who rushed his panzer into a swarm of infantry and PIATs at close range in the final seconds of the last turn in order to neutralize the center flag...

Shrieks, angry curses, stunned disbelief and here and there sobs.

The wails of the multitude of Sith sympathizers.

The annoited successor to the Sith Lords, the one affectionly known as "witless lackey", still. Slain.

Headless.

The body trampled.

Well what was left of the body. Arms and legs torn apart and flung to the four corners.

The soldiers of the Sith do not appreciate commanders who fail.

From a distance the followers of the jedi jdsu watch.

A hasty reformation.

Minutes after the decapitation, three terrible voices descended from the sky.

"WHOM HAS DONE THIS."

"THE PRODIGY, the prodigy..."

"WE SHALL ANSWER THIS"

The voices of the great Sith lords.

All bluster.

A battle worthy of remembrance.
The enemy lulled into complacency. Comforted by the false comfort of 5 grilles and their 150mm doom guns. Into finally, thinking the battle won and the jedi cowled, the advance to claim the flags. 4 stugs forward.

4 stugs shattered in that instance.

Ah yes, a zen momment. Remember it well - the Coil.

I certainly will! :).

Thanks for the excellant battle.

Slain? Nah, it was just a scratch...

They may not appreciate it, but they've at least come to expect it when the commander is Sith Apprentice Coil

Prodigy is exceptionally generous. And much nicer than anything the other Sith have ever called me. Thank you.

My bet is their 'answer' is something along the lines of "Thanks for whacking him. He was annoying, always running around jabbering about how he was a great Sith Lord."

Hey, there were only 4 Grilles. You tell this story another few times, and I bet you'll be claiming you dispatched an army of 116 Grilles or something.

4 stugs shattered in that instance.
That was a sad moment. Stupid round that penetrated and did nothing...

Good fight sir...even if those last few turns were just sad...
