Hi all, maybe done before. I now hold my boards together with a small, rare-earth magnet and a simple, thin, flat washer on the back side. Works great. Boards don't move apart anymore, and not so worried about bumping/nudging the boards. And, the flat washer doesn't create any distortion or bending of the boards. Cheers
Tried loading image, but system says image file is too big. You get the idea.

What are you playing on that magnets are drawn to? The deck of the carrier HMS Illustrious?

What I surmised: a washer (steel, presumably) on the back of the maps (presumably bridging the junction of two maps), with small magnets on the top of each map.

Well, too bad getting the image to render was so difficult. Works now, I hope.

Yep, magnet on top, and small, thin, M5 washer below. Very convenient, and the probability of using these two hexes is decently small.

Cheers

I use repositionable, transparent adhesive.
Scotch produces it.
