FT12 Sur Le Toit De L'Europe has to be up there. The Free French get 4 half squads, one leader and two LMG's as their entire OB. It is also only 5 turns...................
Strayer's Strays I've played, I believe I also played the original Gi:AoV version when it came out in The General. It's rated as pro-German but we enjoyed it, and it's not gimmicky like Jabo!
Fitzgerald's Fire from the Singling HASL is good also, at 4.5 turns. And for a short scenario, has a lot of hardware. Our playthrough came down to the last CC Phase.
On the opposite of the spectrum, there was a Vae Victis scenario with no turn limit : when the objective was met, the scenario was won (each side had an objective)...
Steve Swann published a bunch of scenarios in the HOB FireFights! packs. All 5 turns and can be set up and played in less than 2 hrs.
Good fun but dicey...
