Yay! A screen shot!!!

He's supposed to beat you down! :p

You, a lowly "mortal" defeating a Nazgul no way!!!!

In my LotR lore-mind a Nazgul should be able to kick anyones behind short of an Istari (Gandalf), a Numenorean (Aragorn & his ancestors) or a High Elf/Elves of the Light (Galadriel/Noldor= Elves that had been at Aman before the Two Trees were destroyed by Morgoth). But thats just me... :D

There's having a polite chat over tea with the Nazgul :toast:and then there's fighting the Nazgul... :skull:

Whenever "The Nine" were actively aggressive their "normal" opponents including the halflings quelled.
1. On Weathertop Aragorn jumped right into the battle 5 vs. 1 no problems.

2. The High-elf Lord Glorfindel had no problems going 9 vs. 1 with them at the Fords of Bruinen. Despite the made up scene that Fran Walsh :angry: created by throwing Arwen :nuts: into the mix. {FYI- Glorfindel probably out-classed Elrond in raw power.}

Personally I think if they wanted to re-create/jazz up that entire event they should have just shown Glorfindel battling / delaying the Nazgul, Now that would have been some wild fighting action since Glorfindel in battle made Legolas look like a little kid with a wooden sword.
{Notice in the first movie how awed he was just by their bows, that pretty well sums up the differences between the High-elves abilities and the Woodland (Sindarian) Elves abilities}

3. Gandalf had no problems with them including the Witch-King despite what Fran Walsh  depicted in the made-up scene in the movie at Minas Tirith. :(

4. Eowyn was a unique human, being extremely martial in spirit. Also being female she threw the Witch-King off-guard (what a sap) and there's always the exception to any rule...

Edit- About Glorfindel: the reason Elrond did not have such a powerful elf go with Frodo to protect him was that his "aura" would have easily been detected by Sauron. Although why Tolkien didn't automatically write in a diversion like that to throw off Sauron is beyond me.

I'm sure you've seen this sight in front of the Bree Jail but did you ever wonder how many times the poor woman has hit that ruffian? :bite:

As of this date @ 33,300,000 times  since the game launched. :crosseye:

I'm not sure who's tougher the woman swinging away or the prisoner taking all those blows. :freak:

HA!

I'd like to see a chubby dwarf balance on his chair like this using just the foot edge.

Exhausted & hungry after a tough mission I accidentally BORROWED an apple-pie while traveling thru Bree. :whist: (Hey- that’s my story & I'm sticking with it. )

An inept.. err I mean eagle-eyed constable caught me when I stumbled over him on my way out of town while carving out my first slice. :supper:

Anyway, the judge took pity on me because of my ragged & starving appearance :crosseye: and ordered me to do community service at a local tavern :drink: - called The Prancing Pony.

I'd rather have done time in their dilapidated jail which I could have picked my way out of in 10 seconds :sneak: than the humiliation of being made a waiter by that bumbling owner Butterbur.

How will I ever live this one down :paperbag: with the Thieves Guild!!!! :bandit:

Please take note of my innocent looking butterknife...

Re: M.E. Screenies!

I knew Peregrin "Pippin" Took was a light sleeper but I didn't know he slept this light.

From the archives-

Anyone care for some roasted Sickle-fly? :spam:
I can guarantee it's fresh & I used my special 7 herbs and spices for just the right flavor. :yummy:

It's oh-so-good! :popc1: Although the men seem a bit hesitant to join in- the sissies! :kotz:

Nice kill spot don't you think!

Know what happens when you get to close to the edge to see how far down it is. :argh:
It was quite a long drop. :popc1:

The view is looking up. Yes, I can't see the top either BUT, I didn't die when I hit bottom. :crosseye:
I did break my leg for about 30 seconds but the worse part was I couldn't get out of the pit so I had to "/unstick" myself.

It's hard to figure out the games "Drop to Injury" ratio when jumping down from a small wall can put you down for as long as a drop of an unknown distance.

My Runekeeper poses in the Throne-room of the False-King (after driving him off of course)
Nice lighting effects in here. :)

Side-note: my RK solo (at level 46) was unable to complete the first part of this Epic line (Bk 7 Ch8 -escorting Lorniel thru Carn Dum to find Golodir). There was no way even supercharged that she could grab aggro, keep herself alive with light armor AND keep Lorniel from getting herself killed.
{You should get a sign to hang around your neck on this part saying- "I'm with Stupid."}

In fact my 2nd Warden (at level) couldn't do it solo simply because the escort Lorniel is a dork as are most escorts. Running ahead and into mobs or in the case of Lorniel kneeling down and NOT doing anything as a mob of Seven attacks her!!! It's hard enough for a Guardian to grab aggro off 7 mobs at once...

Since this is the last part of the Epic line up there and I wanted OUT of depressing Angmar I enlisted my wife's Champ (running around in the background) to get past the two idiotic mob fights. If the NPC wasn't so stupidly ran by the A.I. it would be a fair battle at level.

Here's my 2nd Warden (50) glad to be out of Angmar and about to enteri Moria for the first time.View attachment 32228

Things you stumble upon while searching "LotR" on-line. :crosseye:

While not "technically” screenshots they still are "picts" of LotR & they were Online!

Enthusiastic gals for sure: some tattoos are interesting and very cute, but getting a guys initials tattooed prominently on your body- hmmm, not so much. (I like LotR & Tolkien as well but not "this" much.)

The guy on the end with the colorful Orc battle tattoo- frightening in his own way.

View attachment 32235

Edit: Forgot this one - no clue why anyone would want that map on their back, hang it on the wall maybe but tattooed forever on your back?

After months of unrelenting missions filled with danger throughout Middle Earth the Kinship of Nost Dior rejoins once again.

Their journeys have taken them from the blizzards of northern Forochel to the dread of Angmar and from the deep dark if Moria to the gloom of Mirkwood. Now the kin-members gather to recover from wounds, discuss their adventures and make future plans. It’s also a rare opportunity to relax for a few brief days and enjoy welcomed camaraderie. Soon enough they will return to the war venturing even further southward into the heart of Sauron’s evil.

Leave it to a Hobbit to be the center of attention and break up a good "holiday" strategy-session!
