Hi Folks!

I'd like to share this with you. As some of you know I'm playing the Hatten in Flames CG with my Brother.
Due to the mass of counters we realized, it's hard to know where to self-rally, repair or even rearrange SW in a stack.
We used Banzai counter as these are not used in ETO but..

I came up with printing my own counters for this purpose - and those I'd like to share them with you.
My Counters does have a border with the same height as the letters. So they are stackable.

I create my stuff with Sketchup, but wasn't able to add Letters to the top layer.
I slice everything with BambuStudio and here it is very easy to add Letters. So I just attached my STL file for free use.
If a BambuStudio file is requested I can provide it. Also if somebody needs a big counter. These are just 1/2"

I print with a BambuLab A1 in default settings with the Bambu PLA Matte. Those colors are just awesome.

Cool. This is the equivalent of the red circles for broken/malfd stuff in VASL.

Not that much. I think shipping would be more expensive.

I was thinking of some variations like "R" for Repair, "SR" for self rally, etc.. but I'm not sure if that would complicate things in searching the right counter...

I'm also upset with all the different colours of the acq counters. Will try to print simple ones, both sided: A. And A: or A1 and A2. Then a full set for each nation In their colours.

What do you think?

I'm not price conscious. 😂 I like it.

I find it funny , where some people want less counter clutter and others want to add more, I have coloured the edges of my info counters so that they stand out in the stacks to remind you they are there , thus no added clutter.

I may have missed the point, but there would be NO info counters at play for the use case. e.g., the SMC/MMC that is NOT under DM, the SW that is flipped to it's malf'd side, etc. These are just generic reminders that something needs attending to in the area.

Hey if you want more counter clutter on the board go for it , most folk I play against do not need reminders of such but I can see newbies needing the hint.

Instead of counters I have a set of coloured 15 mm pawns to remind me to do things I have planned, e.g. a purple pawn to remind me to assemble that HMG.
I use similarly coloured blank counters on VASL for the same purpose. However, a dig the 3D effect of a token when playing face-to-face.

Time to conscript all those arbeitslos meeples in the other game cupboard!

But where I fail the most is with white info counters that mask units below them. The CX counter is the worst offender. Although the misspelled ;) Labor counter, for example, can be just as annoying, it's much less common.
