There always is the label. Ctrl-L -> "No SD" or whatever you like.
I could.

I could assign a letter to the vehicle and keep a handwritten note that he has blown his smoke.

I could link that vehicle to a blank counter and write on the blank counter 'this one has used his sD'

I could put a no smoke counter on him.

However all of thee solutions are inelegant and a bit boring.

Right click select sD used, sorted.

Why would it be so problematic to implenent a sD depleted function, as it is implemented for depletable ammo for all vehicles and guns which have depletable ammunition?
I don't quite understand why one should twist their pants about a minor, totally optional, improvement.

Pah, you think a right click elegant, Soldat?

This might be the case if you stand to attention and your boots are well polished.

But regarding notification of whether a sD has been used or not, the Oberst has a much more elegant and not at all boring solution:

This is Gretchen, a dashing young Luftwaffenhelferin the Oberst has had the pleasure of making an acquaintance of at a recent Tanzball at the officers mess. She now stands at attention next to the Oberst at the gaming table, most diligently notifying him, should one of the Panzers under his command have already used its sD.

Just in case some people here don't quite know what the topic is about, here is a screenshot of a StugIIIB where are displayed the depletable ammo statuses : smoke and AP are still available, HEAT is depleted (in red and barred).

I have always played that the tank comes with the sD all the time and you deplete it once you get a smoke. However, my interpretation could be wrong.

The wording of note J is not really clear.
What does the red highlighted phrase mean? "This AFV may possibly carry smoke dischargers (sD). " Are they always on the tank or does that mean you need to have an SSR to carry them?
The exception is also not clear. "[EXC: they are usable only once per scenario]." Does that mean you get one usage roll, or you get one successful usage roll and smoke placement?

Adding 'sD' to the depletable ammo for this tank can be done fairly easy (I think, given I made what is there now). A new prototype definition and the change for the counter traits to swap out the old prototype with the new one. If it needs to be optional by SSR it would require the owner to deplete the ammo prior to play if the sD is not actually carried.

I'll send a QA to find out

Hey Bud,

Hope you’re all good.

Are the sD on T34 85s by ssr only?
