The Tampa ASL Group has finally released Schwerpunkt Volume #23 and Rally Point 14 (The 1940 Campaign in the West). Both are available by mail order now.

Currently all 23 issues of Schwerpunkt and 14 issues of Rally Point are available, although some of our older volumes are in low stock.

An order form is included below.

Schwerpunkt Volume #23’s
20-page booklet contains: Brook White’s Der Landser in ASL: The German Squad 1939-1941, as well as our trademark analyses and designer’s notes for Scenarios SP265 - SP276. Each of the 12 scenarios is printed on coated cardstock. The scenarios are in keeping with the Schwerpunkt tradition of tournament-sized as well as medium-sized actions. There's something is this pack for players of all experience levels!

SP265 Defending Jandrain - JANDRIAN, Belgium, 13 May 1940: The 6th Panzer Regiment is attacking with nine tanks to clear French infantry from 11e Régiment de Dragoons Portés and their supporting H39s from the village of Jandrain. This medium-sized scenario has a game length of 4.5 turns and is set on boards 12 and 61.

SP266 The Hohenstaufen Hootenanny – CHATKI, Ukraine, U.S.S.R. 8 April 1944: This hootenanny is no hoedown. It has four Elefants and supporting SS panzer-grenadiers trying to exit by attacking through a village held by the Soviet 10th Guards Tank Corps. This 6.5 turn action is set on boards 17z and 63.

SP267 Death’s Head Debut WJASOWOK, Ukraine, U.S.S.R., 24 February 1943: SS-Panzer-grenadier Division 3 “Totenkopf” is attacking with PzVIF2s, PzIIIJs and supporting infantry to clear elements of the 244th Rifle Division from its board 58 hill defenses and the board 59 village. This 5.5 turn, medium-sized scenario has a lot of action and re-playability.

SP268 The Tjiater Pass – TJIATER PASS, Java, The Netherlands East Indies, 5 March 1942: The Dutch 1st Company, 1st Infantry Battalion, Koninklijk Nederlands Indische Leger is defending a fortified hill against a company-sized attack by the Japanese 230th Infantry Regiment supported by Type 95 Ha-Go tanks and a flamethrower. This medium-sized scenario is set on boards 5a & 73 and has plenty of exciting PTO action. Game Length is 5.5 turns.

SP269 Retaking Kharkov SALJUTINO STATION, Kharkov, Ukraine, U.S.S.R., 11 March 1943: Tiger Is and panzer-grenadiers with a flamethrower from SS-Panzer Division 2 “Das Reich” attack to clear a railway station defended by 6-2-8s, a 57LL AT gun and KVIS tanks from the 86th Tank Brigade. This is a 5.5 turn, scenario set on boards 49 and 71.

SP270 A Small Stack and a Schnapps – STEFANAU, Czechoslovakia, 6 May 1945: In the last days of the war, the remnants of Panzer Grenadier Division “Brandenberg” fight a delaying action with 4-4-7s and JgPz IV/70s on board 76 against 6-2-8s and IS2-m tanks of the 42rd Guards Heavy Tank Brigade. This is a tense, 4.5 turn tournament-level scenario with heavy metal action.

SP271 Zwarts’ Madhouse – KRUIPONDER FARM, The Netherlands, 11 May 1940: Elements of the Dutch 8th and 19th Infantry Regiments man pillboxes to defend a farmstead as a company of 4-6-8s from SS Regiment Der Fuhrer attacks. This fast-playing, 4.5 turn, all infantry action is set on boards 38 & 66 and is well-suited for tournament play.

SP272 Statue of Liberty Attacks MOUNT SANTA ROSA, Guam, 7 August 1944: American 6-6-6s and 6-6-7s from the 77th Infantry Division supported by Stuart and Sherman tanks attacks through the board 67 village to a board 61 hill defended by the Japanese 29th Infantry Division and Type 97B Chi-Ha tanks. Hugh Downing designed this 6.5 turn action that features a rare PTO tank vs. tank combat.

SP273 Roasting Rossner - YELNA, U.S.S.R., 29 July 1941: The Russian 120th Infantry Division with supporting T-26 M31s and Ot-26 flame tanks attack across board 67 to clear Knights Cross recipient Erich Rossner’s anti-tank gun crew and elements the 2nd SS Panzer Division “Das Reich” off of a board 76 hill. Mike Augustine designed this 4-turn Barbarossa scenario that is perfect for tournament play.

SP274 Balloons, Cakes and Ponies - KRASNOGRAD, U.S.S.R., 16 May 1942: A full troop of cavalry from the Russian 49th Cavalry Division attacks on boards 70 and 71 to eradicate a mixed
German force of bakers, observation balloon troops and 150mm ART gun crews. Stuka support makes this a truly unique Schwerpunkt scenario. Mike Augustine designed this thrilling 5-turn action.

SP275 The Battle of Mali Spadarit THE HEIGHTS OF MALI SPADARIT, Greece, 9 March 1941: The Italian 7th Alpini Regiment attacks on board 59 to clear the Greek 50th Regiment off of its level four hilltop defensive position. Brook White designed this 4.5-turn, all infantry tournament-level gem.

SP276 Triumphant Return - DAGAMI, Leyte, 28 October 1944: Pete Shelling returns with this 5-turn PTO scenario that has a company of 6-6-6s from the 96th Infantry Division attacking to seize a bridge controlled by the Japanese 9th Infantry Regiment and to prevent the Japanese from retreating. This tournament action is set on board 34.
