Scenarios with Japanese troops but not PTO rules

The Generalissimo’s Own and Quagmire don’t use PTO.
They are superb Scenarios, the Caveat though being that if a player is trying to get into PTO by doing scenarios
without PTO terrain first there is a layer of Combined arms in the first instance and nuanced VC in the second
being added in these which might negate the doing PTO without the terrain benefit for the PTO Neophyte.

True, but if you're just getting a feel for how the Japanese (and at the same time some nuances of the Chinese) operate, it's really not a bad intro to try and keep the tangential material down.
BTW, Can't agree more about the scenarios, especially Generalissimo's Own. With a perfect 50% balance rating after over a hundred playings and an almost unheard of Rating 8+ after so many playings, it's truly a classic. ;):thumbsup:
