Relative Combat Power source document
I believe the original RCP values were based on those listed in the C&GSC Special Text ST 100-3 Battle Book, July 1999, multiplied by 10 (e.g. in the ST 100-3 an M2 Mech Bn is 1.00 and an M1A1 Bn is 1.19; a BMP-3 Bn is 0.77 and a 31 tank T-80 Bn is 0.64). As far back as 1985, when i did the C&GSC operations planning portion through the USAR school system, one of the STs had a sheet of relative combat power for doing quick-and-dirty wargaming.
