Does a SASL table dice roll activate snipers?

I wouldn't think so. It's not a TC/MC.

The specific rule from A14.1 is:

A player is subject to Sniper attack during any PFPh, MPh, DFPh or AFPh whenever he makes a TH, MC, TC, non-OBA IFT, or Entrenching, Original DR [EXC: those made for Prisoners] equal to the enemy SAN.

Since a roll on the SASL tables is none of those things, then it couldn't activate a sniper.
