CG2 is without the landing and night. It begins in the Dawn Scenario.

I played a few missions of the campaign and it was good fun, but that was several years ago (pre-VASL days!) so I'm not the best person to ask about it now. *The* best person to ask would be John Ferry, but that's assuming he's still playing ASL and SASL of course.
