Recently left FB SASL and designers pages. I’m designing a SASL Campaign that describes the actions of the German Infantry Grossdeutschland Regiment and its assigned battalions on 10May1940. This campaign doesn’t change the SASL system, just an attempt to provide modifications to deal with tactical environment at the time.
The campaign will initially include GD specific rules and supporting tables, TO&E tracking table, proposed mission schedule and three campaign scenarios (each modified versions of the Original SASL Missions, 2nd Edition).
The rules draft is about ready for playtesting, along with the first scenario.
The mission schedule (covering the first 5 days) is designed to assign the 3 battalions and supporting units, based upon their current strength (tracked on TO&E chart) to specific missions that are listed on the mission schedule. I developed the mission schedule from historical records of the units actions in that first.
