S 4.12 Built-up mapboards

Hi

The first of many as I start the SASL learning curve.

When setting up on a v designated board and I roll on table A9e a 5 for second level I take this to mean that the second level is still there but the S? counters are not allowed to be set up there and thus are removed unless the building contains a VPO?

A 4 for each level would mean all or all excluding the ground floor level 0?

Yes, you've got it. If the building has a 2nd level, an S? is placed there. If there is only ground level (or ground and 1st level) then no S? is placed there. [EXC: unless it's a VPO, as you mentioned]

Each level = however many levels the building has, including ground level.
