I need a clarification to this rule. It states that firing on an already broken unit will cause DM, as long as the FP will have the possibilty of inflicting a NMC. My question is that taking in to account just the FP or do DRM's come into play here?

DRM's to come into play, as well as the possibility of cowering if only snakes would inflict a NMC and the firer is subject to cowering.
