David Meyler's ConSim post is worthy of remembrance.

You are all probably familiar with the Bezos superyacht story, where somehow the designers failed to account for the size limits of getting the vessel to the sea, or Bezos was just so arrogant that he figured he could just buy his way out of any difficulty. Neither here nor there, but the bridges in question would be a dozen or more hexes of the south edge of the HASL Rotterdam map, which are the southern extentions of the road and rail bridges crossing the main Nieuwe Maas river (which are shown in full, but they no longer exist being removed/rebuilt many years ago). The Koniginne road bridge and Konings rail bridge were declared historical monuments. It's from the road bridge that a German military film crew shot a newsreel that shows the bombardment of the city by Otto Hohne's wing of KG54 (this was the unit that supposedly aborted and turned away southeast, yet it shows a stafflel of Heinkel bombers flying straight over the city with no turn away). It is at the 11.00 minute mark in this film. There is also map that was drawn up shortly after the bombardment, for plans to clear the rubble, showing bomb craters. This also clearly indicates Hohne's wing dropped its full payload. General Student in the fall of 1940 in an interview with the mayor of Rotterdam also stated he made no attempt to recall the bombers.

The photo indicates the approximate position of the film crew:
