A quick question:

A good order MMC is sitting on an open ground hex that has a road on it as well. This MMC unit is trying to move ahead to a hex wich is Level 1 but contains road. If I understand this correctly the cost to the next hex is 2. 1MF for the road x 2MF for the elevation (according th the B3.4) If the road wasn't there in the destination hex then the cost would still be 2MF.

Doing the same thing with say Armoured Car/Vehicle the cost is 0.5MP as the elevation has no impact since we are still on the road.

Correct ?

You are correct for the infantry, but not correct for vehicles.

B3.41 "... The four MP surcharge for a vehicle entering higher terrain is halved to two MP while crossing a road hexside"

So the total cost for the vehicle is 2.5MP
