Situation:
Case 1:
The 548 in Y3 can see Y1. In Y1 there is a HIP Roadblock along the Y1/Y10 hexside. Y1 is a level 1 hex, the Y1/Y10 hexside is at level 0, though.
Case 2:
The 548 in Y3 can see Y1 but cannot see Y10. In Y10 there is a HIP Roadblock along the Y1/Y10 hexside. Y10 is a level 0 hex, the Y1/Y10 hexside is at level 0, but this hexside is formed by two hexes with different base levels.
Rules:
B29.4 No vehicle may cross a roadblock hexside (inclusive of vertices and even if HIP); Infantry/Cavalry may cross such a hexside as if it were a wall. A roadblock on a hexside that is formed by two hexes of different Base Levels is at the higher level and is treated like a Hillside Wall (9.6).
Questions:
In Case 1, is the HIP Roadblock in Y1 revealed to the 548?
In Case 2, is the HIP Roadblock in Y10 revealed to the 548?
TIA,
