Hi all,

Richard Berg passed away today, during a surgical operation.

He was one of the great names among wargames designers.

May his family and friends find peace and comfort in this time of mourning.

Just noticed the post. It is most sad to loose him. I loved his Civil Was Series, published by SPI. Terrible Swift Sword was my long time favorite, it stole many late nights from me.

It was a hoot to be able to talk to him on Facebook, as I'm sure many of you did. I did not know him at all, was gratified when he commented once or twice on stuff in my feed, and enjoyed watching his participation in various online wargaming groups. A talented - and educated - man, and a hell of a character.

Thanks Richard, for days of fun playing the Terrible Swift Sword system, a classic for sure.
