So we setup our Inor night scenario last night and I purchased a bombardment.
Bombardment is pre-game.
Night Defender has reserves.
As it turns out my bombardment errored and hit mostly reserves.
I see no reason that reserves are also not on No Move.
  1. Does a pre-game bombardment attack remove No Move?
  2. If a reserve counter contents passes the bombardment MC, is it still in reserve?
  3. If a reserve contents breaks, is it still on No Move?
  4. If a reserve unit breaks, is it still in reserve? Pre-game changes anything?
  5. is a bombardment "OBA"? Getting off no move requires a non-oba attack...
  6. if the broken unit is still on No Move can it rout? i.e. is Rout considered "move/advance" (see No Move definition)
My grand plan has failed because BOTH my bombardments scattered (2 and 3) in the wrong direction, so now to take advantage of it I have to break through his front line to get to all these broken reserves... but if they are still stuck on No Move and broken unable to rout I may be able to get to them.

  1. No, Bombardment is a form of OBA and OBA does not remove No Move.
  2. I don't know Inor.
  3. A broken unit is still no No Move, but it can rout (using Low Crawl since it is night) taking it's No Move counter with it.
  4. See 2 although I am guessing no.
  5. Yes Bombardment is a form of OBA.
  6. No Move only restricts moving/advancing, not routing.

There is a specific Q&A about routing at night and taking/keeping the No Move counter.
