So with this I will conlcude this (off-)topic. My excuses. But you'll see - whatever the issue, whatever the cause: If the IFT/IIFT thingy comes up, it will likely haunt any thread for a while.

If a tie, choose the IIFT, but only use the FP columns common with the IFT.

I suspect the reason is that they were not historically there, being further south in the VoTG area.

But, NKVD squads appear in one Red October scenario...
I am confused...
But, happily and luckily, I have "Valor of the Guards", which does have NKVD counters (which are very nice)

You are correct.
There is one scenario in "Red Factories" with NKVD squads.
