Played this as the CPVA vs. Jeff De Young and the US Army.

I WILL NOTE.....I think Jeff lost for 2 reasons.

1-his perimeter was too close to the guns

2-He gave in to the temptation of firing the guns at my onboard forces, giving me a VP each time. He did this 4 times.

TWO of the guns I baby stunned. ONE of them I STUNNED/RECALLED with a sniper shot. Turn 4, since I was able to move to his line unimpeded, I swamped both flanks at the same time.

The 44M6 vc? I think would be really hard to do.

IF you play this as the CPVA, put your man pants on. YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE HORRENDOUS LOSSES the turn you assault the guns. Patiently sit back, watch your cardboard warriors die, and say to yourself that your losses don't matter, just kill UN troops, godless American mercenaries. Chairman Mao will make it all good.....b/c after all, communism will win, the good chairman would never lie to us, his people, right?

Hi My 2 cents

I played Duncan
I was CPVA
He set up way back
Only took a few shots
I died like flies as i crossed the open ground - I had a long way to go - 3- 4 mvt turns of death before reaching him
Only the CPVA Platoon movement charging Half Tracks was my only pleasure!!!!

Rob;)

I am pondering replaying this one...as the US player, er UN player. And I was pondering BORESIGHTING but they can't with the CPVA recon boys on board....

Never mind....

Good scenario I think has replay value. This is one of them.

The US player loses VPs if they limber up and move the guns.

It strikes me there is some serious nuance in this scenario.
