RB LOS and Observation Question

Can an OBA observer on the roof of a 2-1/2 level factory sight to a 1-1/2 level roofless factory hex that is directly behind a hex of that same factory but contains a roof? In essence I would be using the far outer wall of the roofless factory hex as my spotted "non-ariel" location...

Is it correct to say that a non-ariel location can be a location where no units can exist? (i.e. I can see level 1-1/2 of a 2-1/2 factory but no unit can actually be on that level. I'm simply using the "wall" as my point of reference to spot, even though I can't see the base level of that hex...

Hi Guys

I can answer the part of where you can aim as I recently asked Perry of that.
ONLY Locations can be aiming points and Locations is somwhere where units can exist in that scenario.
For example a roof is not a valid aiming point if rooftops is not in play by SSR.
In your case you cannot aim at the wall.
