Rarest Counter?

Are the counters in VASL, as having trouble finding them ? Sturmtiger, no problem, the MA fired his turn, MA fired last turn counters ? Just about to start a play of J100 A Few Rounds More, but expect the Sherman Jumbos will be more fun.

The "this-turn, last-turn" counter is inherent to the vehicle counter, but it's not immediately obvious how to make it visible. On a StuMr counter, either right-click, select "this/last" or select the counter and use ctrl-v. Then de-select the counter (click on the map or another counter). The ""this-turn, last-turn counter" appears. While the vehicle is selected the "this-turn, last-turn" is hidden.

I used a climbing counter once (to get to a dropped mtr). Rolled boxcars and the squad died. Darn this game!

Hanna Reitsch counter from CH Berlin module. There is a scenario whereby she lands on an improvised airstrip near the tiergarten whereby you can airlift Hitler out of Berlin. Need to check my counters but I believe she could be a 10-2 !

Mm rarest how about the Blue bordered Black SS they have got to be the rarest as there was only one set made! And I know who has them?

Here is a pic of a DYO game from couple years back. Shows some rare counters--Hitler,Eva Braun,Bormann,Hanna Reitsch,and Gen.Ritter von Greim (CH Berlin module) along with the two armored cars (HoB Red Vengeance.) The game was a SASL DYO where the Fuhrer and his entourage flee the bunker and must make their way thru the fluid front line around the Tiergarten to the Charlotten-Burger Chausee ,where a Fiesler Storch awaits. If Hitler and Hanna Reitsch can get airborne and off-map, Germans win. If Russians can stop them,they win. If Hitler is eliminated, automatic Russian victory.

Scenario based on a minis game run at a con years ago,and I downloaded the PDF of it. My description of it below:

"The Fuhrer has decided to try and escape Berlin and continue the war from Bavaria. His entourage,escorted by his SS bodyguard detail, are leaving the bunker and will travel in a makeshift convoy to the Charlotten-Burger Chausee to rendezvous with the plane sent for him,but first have to make their way thru the porous front line around the Tiergarten. The Russians are pushing down Wilhelm Strause toward the Reich Chancellery,but the King Tiger at the Pariser Platz , supported by Volksturm and the French SS of Charlegmagne division,have other ideas. Can the Russians stop the evil Fascist warlord from escaping and continuing his reign of terror? Or will Hitler do the old Luftwaffe Shuffle and leave the doomed city?"

I think I have seen a scenario somewhere where one of several aircraft could be designated as having a leader. Similar for guns.

Indeed they would, but "ace" doesn't appear in the index, while both "aircraft" and "leader" do.

CH's Sevastopol... and while I dig what CH does on a creative level .. the way they are tinkering with the failure of Chapter C (small scenario) OBA in larger scale HASL is admireable.. and effective... I did take a pass on Aircraft leaders.. neat coutners though
