Rule O2.1 (RB) points out that a railway embankment is similar to a wall. What are the rules for using RR overlays - does it block LOS like a wall would - any TEM? The RB rule refers to railway embankments running along the hexside, whereas the overlay railway artwork runs through the centre of the hex. I want to play J83 Bloody Nose, but can't figure out if an Assault move onto the RR overlay means I keep concealment, or am I just moving units into Open Ground?

Yours confusedly,

Macca

It depends on what kind of RR embankment....EmRR, GlRR, or ElRR. Look in B32. EmRR are treated as Hillock (F6).

Different rules for RRs

Note that RRs in RB are different from RRs in the v2RB. The RB rail lines are alonh hex sides the overlay rail lines are in hex terrain features. They have different rules as to how they are used. If you have ASLRB v2 then the rules will be found in Chapter B. In you have ASLRB v1 then I believe the rules come with Doomed Battalions(IIRC ??)
