For all you grogs who have both versions of SASL:

Are the mission cards the same between the two? I had heard that there were differences, but I am unable to verify.

Thanks
Jim

My New Year's resolution is to win a game of ASL

1st edition Mission cards are the same in the 2nd one, but 2nd edition has some more.

SASL 1st Edition had 14 scenarios, SASL 2nd increased that number to 21.

Generation Tables for the US PTO and USMC, British, Allied Minor, Vichy French, Chinese, Japanese, and Italian Units were added as well as a Campaign Game Roster card.

An additional countersheet was included (260 counters, mostly Suspect counters in green and blue), plus the 2nd Edition of Chapter S.

Is the 2nd edition better organized than the 1st Edition? Sorry Mr. Kibler, but that 1st Edition is a bear to get through -

2nd edition SASL rules contain clarifications, additions and (I guess) some modifications to the 1st edition rules, but they're not organised in any fundamentally different way so far as I can tell.
