Problem Saving Games

I have had an issue saving a game that is currently ongoing. After returning to the saved game, the boards appeared but everything else has disappeared. I am using Vassal 3.6.4 and VASL version 6.6.3.1. Is this a memory issue and is there anything I can do to prevent a recurrence?

Just to be sure, click the Hide All button a couple of times.

Then I would try closing VASL and VASSAL and restarting them both then open the game.

And maybe restarting your computer. "When in doubt, reboot...."

My IT son starts with a reboot ... almost invariably.
