Currently defending the Bridge with some tough Red Devil guys.
Not ready to cross the river, but just in case it might happen, how do you read PBr Rules 14.1 and 17.1 ?
What is the COT to enter Q22 from Q23 for instance:
- 5 MF (Quoting PBr17.1 "Normal River", ie as per Pbr14.1) ?
- 7 MF (Quoting PBR14.1 and A4.31) ?
- Not enterable ?? (Quoting Pbr17.1 as invalidating PBR14.1 Fording Status ?)
I understand that the PBr14.2 TC is not taken if crossing a single hex river (such as C20 or C17). So clearly bullet 3 is not acceptable. Right ?

Looks like it will be 5 as per a river hex. The brush has no effect on movement.

PBr14.1
All waterways on the PBr map are fordable rivers (B21.12, B21.41-.43) with a slow current flowing east, but with the following difference: entry of a river hex costs 5 MF and may be done in the APh.
RIVER-BRUSH: Hex Q21 is an example of a river-brush hex. A river-brush hex is treated as a normal level -1 river hex (see B21.1) [EXC: the brush depiction is treated as being at level zero for Hindrance (only) purposes].
