Posting Images Issue

I have been attempting to do an AAR on the relative forum. I have done these in the past and added images using the Windows snipping tool. When I try to add the images for the AAR to the thread, I get a message to the effect that the file is too large. As an experiment, I have uploaded images that I have used previously and established that they load without any problem. It therefore appears that something has changed in the Windows snipping tool and that the images take up more space than they did previously. Any suggestions as to how I can resolve this issue?

In case it helps, the size limit on images is 1 meg.

I've encountered this before and resized the image. Dont know about the snipping tool. OMOOT.

I managed to find a "fix". I had to open the saved images using the "paint" app and reduce their size. Reduces the image quality but seems to be the only way round the problem.
