So, I got J6 and was looking at the Primsole Bridge map.

There is a long stretch of road that from the artwork looks like a sunken lane on the North (?) side of the river.

Now I know it's a reality argument, but wouldn't a sunken road that has a lot of irrigation ditches that seem to run up to it and that is near a major river be....flooded?

Should that be a sunken or an elevated road?

"Just curious..." :D

Other remark : all orchards are olive groves.
But I doubt the "orchard-road" hexes were roads lined with olive trees (not the sort of trees one places along a road)...
Of course, I'll play the game after the rules...

I doubt anyone planted all that Grain in such tiny plots, too. =)

I like to read terrain as "treat this area has having the properties off <terrain>". After all, ASL is just abstraction, right? :D

In Europe, and particularily in poor Sicily, you can find quite small grainfields...
But you are perfectly right : ASL being an abstraction, one must not expect absolute (an overly complex) representation of the "real" terrain...

Bridge Type

By the way .....what type of bridge is it on the map ? A one lane or two lane bridge ? I couldn't find anything that stated what lane type it was or maybe I didnt look hard enough.
