About to do the last scenario of our Luneville campaign. I noticed that the first group of US Reinforcement comes in turn 1 on the EAST side of Board 51. The German turn 1 reinforcement is also on the EAST side of board 51.

Based on where other US are entering the board, I have a suspicion that that US Turn 1 should be entering from the WEST side of board 51? (unless the Germans are meant to be chasing the US reinforcement and right on their tail...

The scenario description did imply there is a "sacrifice", i.e. the Germans are probably right on their tail. This sounds like an exciting scenario...

That is exactly it. The sacrifice of the Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron is depicted in Cavarly Delaying Action (fun scenario!) and the US reinforcements that enter on turn 1 with the Germans on their tail are the survivors of this scenario.

Taking Luneville is indeed a dynamic scenario with tough choices to be made.

Benj has perfectly summarised the thing!
The Germans are right on the tail on the remnants of the cavalrymen.
