I switched from plano to container store 32 compartment boxes:

they are about 1/3 smaller than a plano (and about half as thick) so takes up less room, the inserts are fixed so no counter creep, and the locking top is solid so again no counter creep over the divider walls no matter how you throw them in your backpack. Plano and Raaco both require foam inserts to keep counters from creeping over the dividers - no thanks. and they are $5.

Those look better than the BoxBox that require a big rubberband to keep the lid on. Where were you with this a year ago?
