Per A17.2 portaging a wounded SMC is allowed. It is rarely used to bring a player to a tournament, but here it may need to be invoked.

OK, now who's going to want to be paired up against a guy brought into as tournament on a dais portaged by a bunch of grognards? Can you say slightly intimidating?

Transferred in rehab and soon in a plane / still unclear when but considering costs not much choice.
Thanks to all of you.
Hi Philippe, happy you are in front of a keyboard again, I hope you will return better than before the accident. Probably it is not your priority but if a VASL session during the weekend can help you, I'm available any day and almost anytime!

So where is Waldo?

[We are obligated to keep tabs, until he is safely home and within a French Patient Storage system.]

Good question...seems like he will end up in A74 RACCO bin (for sure of Herr Doctor von Marwitz is on call, but he will have a label!)...or a coin envelope maybe? In any case we need 'tracking'.
Just as long as he stays out of the Bendis Bag favored by the National Health and OHIB. ;)

I stopped by to see Philippe yesterday evening. The plan was he was flying back today so I'm hopeful he's airborne as I type on his way back to Paris. He remained in amazingly high spirits all things considered. He was decked out in Cleveland gear that were loaners from the hospital (yes I'm amazed Browns polos were available too) which he seemed amused by. He was being escorted by a Dr. and another helper on the flights so he should be well taken care of for the trip. I'm sure given his "esprit de corps" he will successfully rehab the hip and be walking normally before we know it.

Good to hear he is, in all likelihood, headed back or already back, home. Makes sense on the Browns Jersey. That is something you would have to give away.
