Re leader command influence - 16.4
Each Good Order, unpinned, non-Captured FRIENDLY Personnel (non-armor) leader exerts his
Command Influence into all Locations in his LOS within two hexes, as well as the Location he is in, at the moment his CMD DR is made.

please confirm - In view of the bold text, I'm assuming that a leader can't take his command influence area with him as he moves?

Yes, that's how I play it. I think the "even if that leader subsequently moves/breaks/pins/is eliminated, leaving the unit out of his Command Influence range" bit of S16.41 clarifies it a little, that the command influence area doesn't move; the leader can't "take it with him" as it moves away. I think it's an instantaneous effect that happens at the moment the CMD DR is made, so it wouldn't affect units that enter that range after the leader passes its CMD DR.

Many thanks Scott, I thought as much but best to check as the AI is tough enough without potentially selling my self short with the rules.
