The current Permissions for the profile signatures is currently set to:
Allow Basic BB Code

At some point the forum software did permit for URLs in the signature (see my signature, below). I am guessing when the software was upgraded, the selections above were made by the administrators. I understand the desire to keep image, videos etc. out of the sig, but did find it useful for people who I knew had websites, blogs, etc. to "advertise" their sites in their signature line. For example Dave Ramsey's scenario archive site. Made great sense for him to have the URL in the signature.
My "old" signature has been grandfathered, apparently, but when I go to update the URLs, I am blocked from doing so.
Is there any chance the site administrators would consider flipping the switch on "link" to permit us to put UBB links in our signatures?
