My good friend Caltabiano pointed me that there is no prohibition to lay down a fire lane from a truck in motion. I have to agree with him.
My 1st line italian squad manning a MMG as a passenger on a truck in Motion will fire at a moving american squad with 1FP can lay down a 2FP FL.
Strange isn't it?

Sebastiano is nuts. As per A9.22, a firelane requires a SW MG manned by Infantry.

The odd case for firelanes is armored cupolas. Even though the crew is inherent, by q&a it is deemed able to lay a firelane. A dug-in AFV may not.

Even by the rules, D9.54:
"...A Dug-In AFV has a vehicular (not Infantry) crew (and therefore, unlike other Armored Cupolas, cannot place a Fire Lane) ..."

Passengers are not Infantry = no Fire Lane.

The fixed nature of armoured cupola makes that quite a sensible distinction.

Can you imagine the passengers of a truck looking at this nutcase firing a MG out the side of a moving truck!

Lucky if he survived the first 100m of that trip !!

Can you imagine an AFV taking shots while riding infantry?
A pity that's perfectly legal in ASL.

Physics in ASL are a different thing than in real world.
And that's OK for me, it's just a game.

Nothing wrong with firing with riders, especially WW2 era guns.
