Do Paramarines receive a -1 ambush drm? Section 8.4.2 could be interpreted two ways.

No they don't. The rule only specifically calls out Raiders MMC.
"Good Order Raider MMC receive a -1 ambush drm. "
"Good Order Raider MMC receive a -1 ambush drm. "

The part that was confusing me was that the Paramarines also have a circle around their insignia, sort of implying that Paramarines are a special class of Raiders.

Ok. They are not. They both have the circle, since that's how the counters look in ASL.
