If I remember correctly, mostly Search drm would apply making it easier to search and I believe the dogs had a limited radius of action.

Carl is one of my 'go-to' guys when I need some SSR wording flattened out.

Makes sense. Given the success of dog teams on patrol, I would have suggested some sort of rule to apply to ambushes also.
